🌸 Visit of Bunda PAUD of Palembang City to Global Mandiri School Palembang

Exploring Potential and Preserving Culture through Cultural Tuesday

On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Global Mandiri School Palembang had the honor of welcoming Bunda PAUD of Palembang City as part of the regular Cultural Tuesday program. Her presence served as an inspiration for all students, teachers, and parents to continue preserving and cherishing the nation’s culture.

The event began with a warm welcome from the school, followed by various cultural performances by kindergarten and elementary school students. With great enthusiasm, the children showcased a series of traditional dances and educational games, including:

✨ Tari Tanggai – A graceful traditional Palembang dance of welcome, beautifully performed by the students.
✨ Tari Yamko Rambe Yamko – A spirited dance from Papua symbolizing courage and togetherness.
✨ Tari Gundul-Gundul Pacul – A cheerful dance from Central Java with simple yet meaningful movements.
✨ Cultural Guessing Game – As the closing activity, students participated in a guessing game about Indonesian culture, which added both fun and knowledge.

Bunda PAUD of Palembang City highly appreciated the students and teachers for their creativity and enthusiasm in presenting Indonesian culture. She also emphasized the importance of introducing children to the richness of traditions from an early age, so that they may grow with a love for their homeland and pride as the next generation.

The Cultural Tuesday program is not only a platform for entertainment and education but also a means of instilling values of character, togetherness, and respect for cultural heritage.
