FESTIVAL JAJANAN NUSANTARA: Celebrating Taste and Creativity at Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur
Cibubur, 23 October 2025 — Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur once again held a meaningful and unique event. Through the Special Needs Center (SNC), the school organized Festival Jajanan Nusantara a celebration that delighted the senses while enriching students’ cultural understanding.

The festival featured a variety of traditional Indonesian dishes, including Batagor Bandung, Gudeg Jogja, Coto Makassar, and Sate Madura. Students, teachers, and guests were invited to enjoy culinary journey across the archipelago—tasting each dish while learning about the cultural heritage behind it.

The event was filled with excitement and enthusiasm. Each food booth was managed by students together with their teachers, creating an interactive and enjoyable atmosphere. This activity highlighted that learning at Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur goes beyond the classroom, providing real-world experiences that foster independence and collaboration.

More than just a culinary event, Festival Jajanan Nusantara also served as a platform to develop entrepreneurship and life skills among SNC students. Through this program, students learned about planning, teamwork, service, and responsibility in managing a real event.

The festival once again reaffirmed Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur’s commitment to providing inclusive, creative, and character-building education—where every student, including those supported by Special Needs Center, is given space to grow and express their best potential. (FOS)
