The Easter Celebration

The Easter celebration is a meaningful moment for Christians to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a symbol of victory over death and the hope of new life. In this spirit, students of the Primary Level and Special Needs Center (SNC) at Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta held an Easter Celebration on April 9, 2026, within the school environment, filled with joy and togetherness.

This activity was organized with the aim of instilling Christian values in students from an early age, while also strengthening the sense of togetherness among them. The entire series of events was designed to be engaging and interactive, ensuring that all students, including those from the Special Needs Center, could participate fully.

The event began with an Easter service led by a spiritual mentor, where students were invited to reflect on the meaning of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice and love. In a solemn atmosphere, they took part in praise and worship, prayers, and listened to the Word of God delivered in a simple and understandable manner.

Students from the Special Needs Center also participated enthusiastically. With guidance from teachers, they were able to take part in each activity according to their individual abilities. This reflects the school’s commitment to creating an inclusive and compassionate environment for all students.

A sense of togetherness and joy was strongly felt throughout the event. Laughter, enthusiasm, and happiness were evident on the students’ faces, creating a beautiful moment that not only strengthened relationships among them but also reinforced the values of love, care, and tolerance.

Through this Easter Celebration, it is hoped that all students will gain a deeper understanding of the true meaning of Christ’s resurrection and be able to apply the values of love and hope in their daily lives.
