On April 21, 2026, Primary Level and Special Needs Center (SNC) students of Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta proudly held a Cultural Day celebration. The event was organized to introduce and strengthen students’ understanding of Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage while encouraging unity and appreciation for diversity among the school community.

The Cultural Day celebration created a lively and colorful atmosphere throughout the school. Students and teachers wore various traditional Indonesian costumes from different regions, showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of the nation’s diverse cultures. The event also became a meaningful way to commemorate Kartini Day and promote love for Indonesian traditions.

During the celebration, students enthusiastically participated in a variety of cultural performances and activities. They confidently presented traditional dances, songs, and creative performances inspired by Indonesian culture. Through these activities, students were able to express their creativity while learning more about the cultural richness of Indonesia.

The participation of students from the Special Needs Center (SNC) made the event even more special and inspiring. Cultural Day became a moment that highlighted inclusivity, equality, and togetherness. All students celebrated side by side, showing respect and support for one another regardless of their differences.

In addition to performances, the event also featured cultural exhibitions and interactive learning sessions. Students explored traditional Indonesian items, local foods, and cultural information from various provinces. These experiences provided students with enjoyable and meaningful learning opportunities beyond the classroom environment.

Through Cultural Day, Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta continues its commitment to building students’ character and national pride. The school hopes that students will grow into individuals who appreciate cultural diversity, preserve Indonesian traditions, and contribute positively to society in the future.

The celebration concluded with joy and unforgettable memories for all participants. Cultural Day not only strengthened students’ understanding of Indonesian culture but also encouraged the values of unity, tolerance, and respect within the school community.
