Pre-Primary level students of Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta participated in the National Education Day ceremony on May 4, 2026, with great enthusiasm and excitement. This activity served as an important moment to introduce the value of education from an early age and to nurture a love for learning.

The ceremony was held within the school environment in an orderly and respectful atmosphere. Although they are still at an early stage of education, the students demonstrated discipline and readiness in following the entire series of activities from beginning to end.

During the ceremony, students were also introduced to the meaning of National Education Day, which is commemorated to honor Ki Hajar Dewantara as the pioneer of education in Indonesia. Teachers explained the significance in a simple and engaging way that was easy for the children to understand.

In addition, this ceremony became a medium for character building, such as showing respect to the ceremony leader, fostering togetherness, and developing a sense of responsibility. The students learned to follow instructions properly and maintain order throughout the activity.

The students’ cheerful expressions were evident as they wore neat uniforms and participated with curiosity and joy. This moment became a valuable experience for them in understanding formal school activities. The role of teachers in guiding the students was also essential, especially in helping them understand each stage of the ceremony. With a warm and supportive approach, teachers ensured that the students felt comfortable and enjoyed the learning process.

Through this activity, it is hoped that students will begin to understand the importance of education from an early age and grow into a generation that values knowledge. The National Education Day ceremony marks an initial step in shaping positive character and a strong learning spirit among the students.
