Primary Students of Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur Commemorate the 98th Youth Pledge Day, Embracing Unity and Patriotism
Cibubur, October 28, 2026 – In commemoration of the 98th Youth Pledge Day, Primary students of Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur participated in activities that celebrated the spirit of unity, nationalism, and compassion for others.
Embracing the theme “Patriotic, Resilient, and Empathetic: Youth for Indonesia,” the commemoration provided an opportunity for students to reflect on the meaning of the Youth Pledge and understand the important role young generations play in preserving national unity and shaping Indonesia’s future.
Through this commemoration, students were encouraged to learn about the historical commitment of Indonesian youth to one homeland, one nation, and one unifying language, Bahasa Indonesia. These values serve as an important foundation for nurturing a generation that respects diversity and takes pride in its national identity.
For Primary students, the spirit of the Youth Pledge extends beyond ceremonial activities. It can be demonstrated through everyday actions, such as respecting friends, working together, helping others, following rules, and appreciating differences within the school community.
The commemoration also reminded students that being part of Indonesia’s next generation means having the courage to learn, the perseverance to overcome challenges, and the empathy to understand and support others.
Through character-based education, Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur is committed to supporting students in becoming individuals of integrity who care for others and contribute positively to society. The values of nationalism and unity are expected to continue growing in every student, both at school and within their families and communities.
The 98th Youth Pledge Day serves as a reminder that Indonesia’s future belongs to a generation willing to learn, unite, and grow together.
One Homeland, One Nation, One Language: Indonesia!
Inspired by the spirit of the Youth Pledge, Primary students of Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur are encouraged to become patriotic, resilient, and empathetic individuals who are ready to contribute to a brighter future for Indonesia. (FOS)
