MPLS 2026: A Joyful Beginning for All Students at Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta
The 2026–2027 academic year at Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta officially began with the implementation of the School Orientation Program (Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah – MPLS). The program was attended by students from all levels, including Pre-Primary, Primary, Junior High, and Senior High.
Designed to provide a warm welcome, MPLS helped students become familiar with their new learning environment while preparing them for a successful academic journey. Throughout the program, students participated in a variety of engaging activities that introduced them to the school’s vision, mission, values, rules, and daily routines.
The sessions were conducted in an interactive and enjoyable atmosphere, encouraging students to actively participate while building confidence and enthusiasm for the new school year. Students also had the opportunity to get to know their teachers, classmates, and school staff through ice-breaking activities, educational games, and collaborative group discussions.
These activities helped foster meaningful relationships and created a positive sense of belonging within the school community from the very first day. In addition to classroom activities, students explored various school facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports areas, and other learning spaces.
This school tour enabled them to become more comfortable navigating the campus while understanding the importance of maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful learning environment. MPLS also emphasized the development of character, discipline, responsibility, and respect for others.
Through inspiring presentations and meaningful discussions, students were encouraged to embrace the school’s core values and become responsible learners who contribute positively to their community.
The enthusiasm and active participation shown by students throughout the orientation reflected their readiness to begin a new chapter of learning. With the support of dedicated teachers and staff, the program successfully created a welcoming atmosphere that inspired students to grow academically, socially, and personally.
