Partnership Fair: A Step Toward Meaningful Collaboration Between Schools and Industry

Bogor, December 16th, 2015 – Junior High Level of Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur hosted its Partnership Fair at the school’s basketball court, bringing together 20 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), from the surrounding areas of Legenda Wisata, Kota Wisata, and Cibubur.

The event served as both an appreciation and a reinforcement of collaboration between the Junior High of Sekolah Global Mandiri and its partner tenants who previously worked with Grade 9 students through the Project Work Interest Network program during the 2024/2025 academic year. This partnership played a meaningful role in providing experiential learning, highlighting the connection between the world of education and the business sector.

Beyond acknowledging existing partnerships, the fair also marked a strategic step in preparing students for their future careers. As part of supporting the upcoming Work Interest Network program for Grade 9 students in the 2025/2026 academic year, the school facilitated the distribution of student Curriculum Vitae (CVs) to participating tenants who continue to collaborate with the institution. This initiative aims to offer students firsthand exposure to the professional world while nurturing early career readiness.

Through the Partnership Fair, Junior High Level of Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur reaffirmed its commitment to building strong synergy between education and the workforce. The initiative stands as a reflection of the school’s efforts to provide relevant, contextual, and meaningful learning experiences while fostering sustainable collaboration with the community and local business partners.
