MID-SEMESTER ASSESSMENT: Tracking Students’ Progress
Mid-Semester Assessment
Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur has once again carried out the Mid-Semester Assessment as part of its learning evaluation program. This odd-semester assessment was held from September 8–12, 2025, covering all education levels, from Pre-Primary, Primary, Junior High, and Senior High Levels.
The main purpose of the assessment is to measure students’ understanding and achievement during the first three months of the 2025–2026 Academic Year. Through the program, school can monitor students’ learning progress, identify both strengths and areas for improvement, and continuously enhance the quality of education. The assessment is also expected to help students develop a deeper comprehension of the material while fostering stronger learning motivation.
In practice, the assessment applied a differentiated assessment approach, allowing students to choose the type of assessment that best suits their abilities and needs. This ensures that evaluation does not only focus on final results but also provides opportunities for every student to showcase their potential to the fullest.
During the assessment period, the school schedule was adjusted so that students finished earlier than usual. Parents also played a vital role in supporting the success of this program, particularly by ensuring their children’s punctual attendance according to the established schedule.
For Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur, the assessment is not merely an academic routine, but a strategic effort to improve the quality of education and nurture students who are independent, high-achieving, and well-prepared to face future challenges. (FOS)
