Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta once again provided a meaningful learning experience for its students. On March 10, 2026, students from the Primary Level and Special Needs Center (SNC) participated in an engaging activity titled “Social Studies: Chinese New Year.”

This activity aimed to introduce students to cultural diversity and deepen their understanding of Chinese New Year as one of the most celebrated traditions in the world.

Through this activity, students were guided to explore the history, significance, and traditions of Chinese New Year. Teachers delivered the materials in an interactive and enjoyable way, allowing students to better understand the cultural values, togetherness, and gratitude reflected in this celebration.

The activity also served as a platform for students to learn about global cultural diversity. By exploring traditions from different cultures, students were encouraged to develop tolerance, respect, and appreciation for differences from an early age.

During the session, students participated in various exciting activities related to Chinese New Year. They learned about iconic symbols such as lanterns, the color red symbolizing good fortune Students from the Special Needs Center actively took part in the activity with the support and guidance of their teachers.

Through an inclusive and supportive learning approach, all students were able to engage meaningfully and enjoy a positive learning experience.

The atmosphere throughout the activity was lively and joyful. Students showed great enthusiasm as they followed each part of the program while expanding their knowledge of cultural traditions from around the world.

Through the “Social Studies: Chinese New Year” activity, Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta hopes that students not only gain new knowledge but also develop an open-minded attitude toward cultural diversity.
