Tie-Dye Activity for Pre-Primary Students at Global Mandiri Palembang School

Pre-Primary level students at Global Mandiri Palembang School participated in a creative tie-dye activity as part of their learning program to develop imagination and creativity from an early age. This activity was designed to help students explore color combinations and create patterns freely through artistic expression.

During the activity, students were introduced to basic tie-dye techniques, including fabric tying and the dyeing process. With guidance from teachers, students were encouraged to choose and mix colors based on their own imagination. This hands-on experience also supported the development of fine motor skills, focus, and patience.

Each tie-dye artwork created by the students was unique and one of a kind, as the process naturally produces different patterns and color blends that cannot be replicated exactly. Through this experience, students learned to appreciate creativity, individuality, and the beauty of differences.

Through this tie-dye activity, Global Mandiri Palembang School aims to nurture students’ creativity, imagination, and self-confidence, while making learning enjoyable through meaningful art-based experiences.
