YEAR 5 P8 PROJECT: Fostering Creativity, Collaboration, and Love for the Nation

Cibubur, Sekolah Global Mandiri – Year 5 students of Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur proudly presented their P8 Project: Poetry Theatrical – “Simfoni Untuk Indonesia”, a captivating performance that combined poetry, music, drama, and artistic expression to celebrate the spirit and identity of Indonesia.

Through a series of thoughtfully curated performances, students showcased various literary works centered on the themes of nationalism, cultural diversity, and love for the country. Featured pieces included Karawang Bekasi, Aku Melihat Indonesia (I See Indonesia), and Indonesia-ku (My Indonesia). Each performance was enriched with narration, musical interpretation, and theatrical elements that brought the poems to life and inspired the audience.

The project provided students with valuable opportunities to develop essential skills, including communication, creativity, collaboration, and self-confidence. Throughout the preparation process, students learned to work effectively as a team, appreciate each other’s contributions, and express ideas and emotions through meaningful artistic performances.

One of the most memorable moments of the event was the grand finale, where all performers gathered on stage to sing “Berkibarlah Bendera Negeriku” (Fly High, My Nation’s Flag). This powerful closing performance symbolized unity, national pride, and a deep love for Indonesia.

Through Poetry Theatrical – Symphony for Indonesia, students not only demonstrated their talents and creativity but also strengthened their understanding of national values, diversity, and the importance of unity. The project reflects Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur commitment to providing meaningful learning experiences that nurture creative, confident, and globally minded learners while fostering a strong appreciation for Indonesian culture and heritage.
