“Books, My Best Friends Forever”

Palembang, October 20–25, 2025 – Sekolah Global Mandiri Palembang successfully held its annual Book Week 2025 celebration with the theme “Books, My Best Friends Forever.”
The week-long event involved students from both Pre-Primary and Primary Levels, aiming to foster a love for reading, creativity, and joyful learning experiences.

Each day featured a series of exciting activities such as storytelling sessions, buddy reading, mini drama performances, and literacy competitions, along with the special Parent Volunteering Teaching Sessions, where parents actively participated in classroom learning. Students also showcased their talents through book cover design, poster making, mini book creation, and Book Character & Dance Performances, bringing the spirit of reading to life in creative ways.

For the Pre-Primary Level, the activities took place from October 20–25, 2025, including Storytelling from Teachers, Mini Drama Shows, Coloring & Book Cover Competitions, and student performances. Meanwhile, the Primary Level held its Book Week from October 20–24, 2025, featuring Parent Teaching Sessions, Storytelling Competitions, and Costume Performances to close the event.

Through this celebration, Sekolah Global Mandiri Palembang continues to strengthen its commitment to nurturing students who are curious, confident, and passionate about reading, while fostering meaningful collaboration between teachers, students, and parents.
