The Halal Bihalal event in celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H, organized by Sekolah Global Mandiri, was held in a warm and joyful atmosphere on Thursday, April 2, 2026. The event involved all Pre-Primary and Primary students, along with teachers and staff, fostering a spirit of togetherness, forgiveness, and strengthened relationships.
The program began with an opening by the MC, who guided the event smoothly and enthusiastically. It was followed by a recitation of the Qur’an and a sari tilawah performed by students, creating a solemn and meaningful ambiance.
In the next session, the Principal delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of maintaining a pure heart and strengthening relationships after the holy month of Ramadan. This was followed by remarks from the PIC, who encouraged students to continue practicing positive values in their daily lives.
The event became even more lively with a series of student performances. Students from KG-A and KG-B Rocket presented cheerful and energetic performances. This was followed by performances from KG-B Submarine and KG-B Helicopter, showcasing their creativity and teamwork on stage.
Next, Year 1 students from Mendeleev and Einstein classes entertained the audience with confident and engaging performances. The excitement continued with performances from Year 2 Franklin and Year 3 Galileo, which captivated the audience and added to the festive atmosphere.
The highlight of the event was the ramah tamah session and food sharing, where all participants had the opportunity to exchange greetings, forgive one another, and strengthen their bonds in a warm and friendly environment.
The event concluded with a closing session, marking the end of the Halal Bihalal celebration.
Through this activity, it is hoped that all students gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of Halal Bihalal—not only as a tradition to strengthen relationships but also as a way to instill values of respect, forgiveness, and togetherness from an early age.
