Empowering Students Through PMR Training & Socialization

On April 9, 2026, Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta, in collaboration with PMI Jakarta Timur, will hold a Joint Socialization & Training activity for PMR within the school environment. This activity is one of the efforts to enhance preparedness and foster a sense of humanity among students.

This program is designed to provide basic understanding of handling emergency situations, particularly in the field of first aid. Through this collaboration with PMI Jakarta Timur, students will gain more practical and real-life learning experiences.

One of the materials that will be delivered is an introduction to ambulance facilities. Students will be guided to understand the various medical equipment available in an ambulance and the function of each tool in supporting patient care.

In addition, participants will receive education on patient handling and mobilization in the field. This material aims to help students understand the proper steps to assist victims safely and effectively before further medical treatment is provided.

The activity will also be complemented by basic first aid (P3K) training conducted through hands-on practice. With this method, students are expected to better understand and master essential life-saving skills.

Through this activity, students are expected not only to gain knowledge but also to develop skills, a sense of responsibility, and care for others. The spirit of humanity and preparedness instilled in this program is hoped to become an important foundation in their daily lives.
