Bringing Together Dozens of Schools
One of the highlights of Gloricup 2026 was the diversity of schools that took part in the event. Dozens of schools from various regions came together not only to compete but also to build connections with other schools.
The participation of 40 schools with diverse characteristics and backgrounds made Gloricup more than just a competition between teams. Each participant had the opportunity to meet students from other schools, make new friends, exchange experiences, and experience the atmosphere of competition in a positive environment.
The enthusiasm of the participants was also evident throughout the matches. Each team strived to deliver its best performance, while supporters added energy and excitement, making the overall competition even more vibrant.
More Than Just a Competition
Behind every match, Gloricup carries values that go beyond simply winning. The competition serves as a platform for students to learn about sportsmanship, discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and the ability to face challenges.

In sports competitions such as Basketball and Mini Soccer, participants learned that success is not determined solely by individual ability, but also by communication and teamwork. Meanwhile, through English Debate and E-Sport Mobile Legends, participants were challenged to think strategically, make decisions, communicate effectively, and adapt to constantly changing situations.
Gloricup was not only a valuable experience for the participants but also served as a hands-on learning opportunity for Senior High Sekolah Global Mandiri Cibubur students who were involved as event committee members. Throughout the preparation and execution of the event, students had the opportunity to learn how to manage a real event, from planning and task delegation to coordination between divisions, communication with participants and other schools, and ensuring that the event ran according to plan.
This involvement gave students valuable experience in developing a variety of skills, including leadership, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, time management, and event management. They learned how to respond to various situations that arose during the event while understanding that the success of an event requires cooperation and responsibility from every individual involved.
