Special Needs Center (SNC) Market Day Activity

Students of the Special Needs Center (SNC) of Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta held the SNC Market Day on December 16, 2025. This activity was designed as a learning program to develop students’ independence, self-confidence, and social skills through direct experience.


The SNC Market Day created a lively mini-market atmosphere within the school environment, where SNC students actively took part as sellers. They offered various simple products such as food, beverages, and handmade items, which were carefully prepared together with their teachers with great enthusiasm.


The event was attended by buyers from different education levels, including Pre Primary, Primary, Junior High, and Senior High. The presence of students from all levels provided meaningful interaction opportunities for SNC students to practice communication and customer service skills.


Throughout the activity, SNC students demonstrated remarkable courage and enthusiasm. With the guidance of their teachers, they learned how to greet customers, explain their products, handle payments, and express gratitude with confidence.


The atmosphere of the event was very festive and warm, filled with smiles, laughter, and strong support from the entire school community. The positive interactions between SNC students and the buyers fostered an inclusive and respectful environment.


Through the SNC Market Day, Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta reaffirmed its commitment to providing equal learning opportunities for all students. This activity focused not only on outcomes but also on the valuable process of social and emotional learning.
