Christmas Celebration, C-Light: Christmas Love in God, Harmony Together

Palembang – Global Mandiri School (SGM) Palembang held a Christmas Celebration with the theme “C-Light: Christmas Love in God, Harmony Together” on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Citra Grand City, Family Club Hall. The event was attended by Kindergarten and Primary students, teachers, and the school community in a joyful and meaningful atmosphere.

This celebration aimed to instill the values of love in God, strengthen togetherness, and nurture harmony from an early age. The program began with an opening prayer, followed by a welcoming speech from the Principal, delivering a Christmas message about love, gratitude, and unity.

The celebration continued with an opening praise song, “Come, Let Us Gather,” a Nativity fragment portraying the birth of Jesus Christ, and a Christmas reflection inviting all participants to reflect on God’s love in their daily lives. The joyful spirit of Christmas was further expressed through praise songs such as “Today I Feel Happy” and “Jingle Bells,”performed enthusiastically by the students.

A meaningful moment of the event was the candle lighting ceremony, symbolizing the light of Christ’s love that guides everyone to live in peace and harmony. The celebration was enlivened by various student performances, showcasing their talents, confidence, and creativity on stage.

As an expression of care and sharing, the event continued with a Christmas offering titled “Heavenly Songs Resound,”a gift exchange, and a closing prayer. The celebration concluded with a fellowship session while singing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” creating a warm and memorable ending.

Through this Christmas Celebration, Global Mandiri School Palembang hopes that the values of love, peace, and harmony will continue to grow in the hearts of the students and become part of their character in everyday life.
