Educational Field Trip to Melona Garden: Exploring Hydroponic Plants and Planting Grapes
On an exciting and joyful day, the students participated in a meaningful field trip to Melona Garden, an educational farming area known for its modern hydroponic system. This activity provided a hands-on learning experience about growing plants without soil in an environmentally friendly way.
Upon arrival, the students were welcomed by guides from Melona Garden, who led them on a tour around the hydroponic area. The children were enthusiastic as they observed various plants such as grapes, melons, pumpkins, and spinach, all growing fresh and neatly arranged in the hydroponic installations. They learned how water enriched with nutrients can replace soil in supporting plant growth.
The students also had the opportunity to learn more about different varieties of grapes grown at Melona Garden. The guide explained the stages of planting, caring, and harvesting, helping students understand that growing plants requires patience, dedication, and the right knowledge.
The most exciting part of the field trip was when the students were invited to directly plant grape seedlings. With guidance from the instructors, they followed each step—from preparing the planting media, arranging the seedlings, to watering them. The hands-on experience made the learning process enjoyable and meaningful.
This field trip to Melona Garden not only broadened the students’ knowledge about hydroponic farming technology but also nurtured their awareness of the environment and encouraged a love for plants and gardening. It was a memorable learning experience that inspired curiosity and motivated them to keep exploring new things.
